Decluttering and organizing aren't just for indoor spaces!
Check out this beautiful outdoor space that just needed a little love to become a sanctuary.

Before: the seating area was on the opposite side of the patio from the used door and the hammock was just outside the door near the storage closet.

After: We moved the hammock to the opposite side where it has more space to swing in different directions, allowing more open space on the patio and the seating area to the space outside of the patio door, giving my client easier access and allowing them to have coffee on the patio without being blinded by the morning sun. ☀️

These changes make the space more accessible and inviting, which will encourage them to use it more.

There is a difference between clearing out a space and decluttering.
Instead of feeling like you have to remove everything for it to be decluttered, consider what functional feels like for you. What is regularly used in your space? What should be on the counter?
Your space is there to serve you in your way, not me in mine. If you’re looking for a mindful guide on your decluttering journey, feel free to reach out or set up a Discovery Session. I’d love to chat!

Happy October! Just a word about triggers. They don’t come with warnings in real life. We have to learn how to recognize them, question them, feel what comes up, and work through them. Ignoring triggers will never make them go away. Want to learn more? Reach out or set up a Discovery Session. #stuckistemporary #cluttercoach

Sneak peek!
Here are the before and after photos from the bathroom portion of the Vegas decluttering trip.
- Cluttered
- Cleared
- Functional (2 photos)

Honestly, I struggle with before and after photos. They don't tell the whole story. You miss the prep work, the process, how long it takes, the why, and the how.
The details of a decluttering and reorganizing project are a very big part of what I do.
(I also need to remember to take pictures of the organization inside the cabinets. It's a learning process.)

Stay tuned for details of an upcoming webinar to discuss the Stuck is Temporary Decluttering Process. I'll be using my work in Vegas as a case study to show what working with me on a decluttering project includes.

Autumnal equinox: where the days get shorter, the nights get longer, and we let go of what no longer serves us.
Follow Mother Nature’s lead to rest and reflect this season.
Slow it down.
Change happens for us all.
